West Bend Mutual Insurance Company in Madison, WI seeks a Property Adjuster to handle complex CL/PL property claims with minimal supervision. This fully remote role requires spending up to 50% of time in the field serving the Madison territory. Occasional travel to office locations for meetings, training and events is possible.

The position offers a salary range of $68,000-$90,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must reside in the Madison area to be considered for this role.

Qualifications

• Handle complex CL & PL property claims with minimal supervision.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel to Madison area offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex CL & PL property claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
• Research and formulate a basis on which coverage decisions will be made, conduct investigations, evaluate damages and liability.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants and attorneys.
• Mentor others in the team or department; maintain high level of customer service and adhere to audit guidelines.
• Participate in training activities and present claims to Committee.
