Job summary

GSW is seeking an editorial professional to support our Senior Editors on multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, nights, or weekends as projects demand.

You will proofread a variety of materials, including PowerPoint slides, websites, newsletters, brochures, and print ads, uphold AMA style where applicable, and verify references and production files against approved layouts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience editing or proofreading content across multiple formats (digital, print, marketing, or editorial).
• Proficiency with editing tools (Microsoft Word track changes, Adobe PDF markup).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Proofread a variety of materials, including PowerPoint slides, websites, newsletters, brochures, and print ads.
• Ensure correct grammar, spelling, and usage, and adherence to AMA, agency, and client style guides.
• Maintain brand-specific style consistency throughout all projects.
• Verify that references are listed and ordered correctly.
• Perform detailed side-by-side comparisons for print and digital materials to ensure accuracy.
