Job Summary

The Proofreader is a member of the Editorial team within the Quality department. They are primarily responsible for reviewing copy and content verification for client digital properties, including websites, iPad applications, emails, banner ads, and RFPs, using approved assets, such as comparables and style guides. Proofreaders investigate copy inconsistencies, research and apply best practices, and recognize and report discrepancies as a team. Proofreaders collaborate with QA and other Editorial team members to ensure deadlines for both client and internal projects are strictly met. Proofreaders also review internal documentation (guides, reference material, training material, etc.), to help ensure Quality department documentation is current and correct. This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days a week in our Chicago Office The salary for this role is 50-60K This is a bilingual Spanish role - must be able to read, write, speak, and proofread in Spanish
