Job summary

1mind is seeking a Prompt and Context Engineer to advance autonomous customer experiences. This remote role focuses on designing prompts and context management for LLMs, with emphasis on subagents in live conversations. You will learn the platform, document work, and lead initiatives as you grow with the company.

The position supports remote work across time zones, with preference for Eastern or Central regions. Salary ranges and equity are part of a competitive package with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in AI, LLMs, NLP, or related fields.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to produce write-ups or slideshows to educate others.
• Mastery of LLM prompting, especially with OpenAI and Anthropic models, including API usage and prompt parameters.
• Basic coding skills for rapid prototyping and API integration.
• Additional skills in copywriting, data science, or software engineering are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for specialized subagents operating within live customer conversations.
• Build routing and delegation systems to decide when to answer, invoke subagents, or escalate.
• Define contracts between the primary agent and subagents: inputs, outputs, confidence, latency budgets.
• Master our Dialogue Platform and train others on prompting.
• Train our Superhumans using prompting, RAG, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Prototype development for ai-assisted coding and data workflows.
• Develop multi-media prompting strategies including images and video.
