SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks an Associate Project or Project Technical Editor to join the Technical Publications team and support offices throughout the company, with emphasis on the Great Basin subregion. The role edits and formats scientific documents and marketing proposals, collaborating across technical staff and project managers.

The position offers hybrid or distributed work, reports to our Salt Lake City, Utah office, and may require occasional evenings or overtime to meet

Competenze

Bachelor's degree required.
Three years of technical editing experience.
Science background and/or knowledge in environmental consulting, biology, or cultural resources is desirable.
Proficiency with Word Track Changes and Styles; Excel and collaboration tools.
Strong grammar, writing, and editing skills.

Mansioni

Edit and format technical documents and marketing proposals to SWCA and client standards.
Lead and coordinate project efforts with staff, project managers, and stakeholders.
Develop and implement project-specific style guides and editing protocols.
Mentor junior staff and improve editing processes and tools.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
