SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks an Associate Project or Project Technical Editor to join the Technical Publications team and support offices throughout the company, with emphasis on the Great Basin subregion. The role involves editing technical documents, formatting reports, and supporting marketing proposals.

Two levels are available: Associate (3+ years) or Project Tech Editor (4+ years), with hybrid or remote work options.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of technical editing experience.
• Science or technical background in environmental consulting desirable.
• Strong Word/Excel/Acrobat skills; able to collaborate in teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate projects from concept to delivery with clear goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Edit technical documents for clarity, coherence, and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure content accuracy and formatting.
• Develop and implement project-specific editing style guides and protocols.
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning.
• Innovate editing processes and leverage tools to improve efficiency.
• Manage multiple editing assignments and meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide feedback on complex documents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Follow federal, Tribal, state, local, and client standards.
