Job summary

Kforce Technology Staffing is seeking a hands-on Remote Project Manager to drive a large Workday implementation. You will partner across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Data, Change Management, and an external implementation partner to translate plans into action.

The role emphasizes organization, execution, and proactive communication, with leadership support and clear ownership of day-to-day mechanics of the project.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project management or coordination.
• Experience supporting a complex technology, enterprise software, or SaaS project.
• Strong fundamentals in planning, scheduling, status reporting, dependency tracking, and risk/issue management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and keep deliverables on track.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Data, Change Management, and partner teams.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision forums.
• Prepare agendas, document decisions, assign owners, and follow up through completion.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and governance materials.
• Track risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and escalate as needed.
• Monitor workstream progress and resolve conflicts or resource constraints.
• Support activities across requirements, design, configuration, data conversion, integrations, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization.
• Coordinate testing schedules, defect tracking, readiness checkpoints, and deliverable reviews.
• Support change-control activities and assess scope, schedule, and resource impacts.
• Prepare concise project updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Keep project information organized and accessible.
