Job summary

Skillforce, in partnership with a construction leader, seeks a Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects. The role manages from preconstruction through turnover, focusing on schedule, budget, procurement, and client communication.

This hybrid position allows remote work with occasional site visits in Barnstable, MA and potential travel accommodations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years PM experience and strong leadership with Procore and Primavera skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with water and/or wastewater projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and processes.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, contracts and subcontractors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership and collaboration with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion, startup and turnover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and cost controls.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including scope review and contracts.
• Track material and equipment procurement and ensure timely deliveries.
• Review project costs, revenue projections and pay applications.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule and budget.
