Job summary

Daniel O’Connell’s Sons in Barnstable, MA, seeks a Project Manager for our Water & Wastewater division. You will lead day-to-day execution, project controls, and reporting, coordinating internal teams, trade partners, and clients through construction, start-up, and turnover.

Applicants should have 5+ years in construction PM roles, strong leadership, and experience with Procore or similar tools. OSHA 30, LEED, and Lean certifications are a plus; on-site work required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction related field or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar construction project management role
• Experience supervising teams and decision-making/ problem-solving
• Proficient with Procore or similar PM software and scheduling tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the planning and scheduling of projects.
• Financial management of projects, including owner pay applications and cost oversight.
• Procurement: subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, and vendor management.
• Prepare and review reports, production reports, and cost/revenue projections.
• Monitor progress and resolve operational issues with the superintendent.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, owners, architects, engineers and trade partners.
• Attend meetings and provide reports to ensure stakeholders are informed.
• Coordinate with BIM, Scheduling, MEP, and Estimating departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety goals.
