Job summary

Primergy Solar LLC in Oakland, CA seeks a Project Manager, Construction to lead execution of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across the U.S. You will coordinate EPC procurement, manage budgets, schedules, and field teams, and act as owner’s representative with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Required: 7+ years in renewable energy development or construction, 4+ years on-site, strong collaboration skills, and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in renewable energy development and/or construction.
• 4+ years of on-site construction experience on utility-scale projects (100 MWac+ solar or 50 MW+ BESS).
• Experience in solar PV and/or battery energy storage development or construction, with EPC procurement/management proficiency.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills; able to work with Development, M&A, Legal, Origination, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Remote-friendly role but must have access to a major metropolitan airport for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC procurement: bidding, scoping, and execution for large solar and storage plants.
• Manage project docs and records: submittals, RFIs, minutes, reports, and data room control.
• Lead a diverse field team and coordinate with EPC partners and internal teams.
• Direct owner’s representatives and coordinate with development/pre-construction teams.
• Oversee project budget, contingency, contractor pay apps, lender draws, and IE reporting.
• Manage change orders, contracts, notices, and warranties; maintain records.
• Prepare logs for construction meetings and report milestones to senior management.
• Review baseline schedules, track milestones, and manage owner inputs like permits and interconnection.
