Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Services Project Manager to support on-boarded PV power plants, ensure peak financial performance, and uphold contractual obligations. The role leads fleet operations across North America and collaborates with Owners, subcontractors, and the SOLV team.

The position is fully remote and discussed during interview. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, controlling costs, invoicing, reporting, and driving continuous improvements in O&M while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Business-related degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure contract compliance with terms, scope of work, and schedule.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with Owners, subcontractors and SOLV team.
• Encourage positive relationships between SOLV field teams and Owners through communication.
• Support SOLV Field team to meet contractual terms, maximize plant production and availability, and enhance fee.
• Responsible for onboarding all aspects of facility.
• Provide accurate cost and revenue accruals on a monthly basis.
• Manage DSO of projects to ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Manage project costs and AP invoicing with proper cost coding and expenditure verification.
• Manage owner invoicing process to ensure timely submissions.
• Maintain timely reporting to management on issues.
• Lead and supervise project team per company policy.
• Review contract conditions to ensure compliance.
• Document significant project events (accidents, Change Orders).
• Negotiate and prepare subcontract bid packages.
• Maintain quality control on projects.
• Analyze industry best practices for system operations.
• Ensure full compliance of services obligations.
• Meet laws, ordinances, contracts (PPA, LGIA) for power plants.
• Drive continuous improvements and best practices in O&M.
• Interface with project owner and stakeholders for satisfaction and reporting.
• Work with outside resources to resolve long-term performance issues.
• Prioritize daily tasks and delegate to meet goals.
• Fulfill role as PM executive for multiple teams/projects across North America.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members and extended team.
• Contribute to resource planning and developing new processes.
• Identify project risks through problem solving.
• Coordinate with Directors to lead the organization forward.
• Play a strategic role in portfolio planning, valuation, and construction of new projects.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned
