Job summary

PDMI is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead software delivery from planning to completion while coordinating teams and managing budgets. The role also fulfills Scrum Master responsibilities to support team effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Applicants should have 7+ years in IT project management, proficiency with JIRA/MS Project, and relevant certifications (PMP/CSM). This full-time, remote-ready position supports our U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in IT environments.
• Proven ability to manage projects using Agile, Lean, Waterfall, Iterative and related PM methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Monday.com, JIRA, and/or MS Project.
• Familiar with PDMI work and productivity tools including the MS Office suite; Tableau/PowerBI/Advanced Excel preferred.
• PMP, CSM, or other project management/scrum certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies depending on project requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors for successful project execution.
• Monitor project performance and milestones to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and removing blockers.
• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding status, risks, and accomplishments.
