Job summary

The Lockwood Group, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Medical Publications (Medical Communications) to guide publications projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, interface with internal departments, and manage client expectations to ensure on-time, on-budget outputs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant PM experience in publications, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant project management experience in a publications environment is required.
• Ability to grasp and retain scientific information.
• Strong technical aptitude with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with publication management platforms such as iEnvision/Datavision and PubStrat.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and faculty members.
• Ensure timely and professional communications with clients and faculty members.
• Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of projects.
• Schedule and conduct start-up, interim, and final team meetings.
• Oversee development of all project activities and timelines.
