ABCO Maintenance, a leading Commercial Facility Maintenance and Construction Company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Project Manager to oversee maintenance and construction projects across commercial properties in the Tri-State area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful execution of work orders and projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with on-site technicians and subcontractors to complete work orders.
  • Plan project timelines and budgets.
  • Allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Document project details and maintain records.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to provide updates and address any issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and construction trades (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, roofing).
  • Experience managing self-performing labor teams.
  • Previous project management experience, preferably in facilities or construction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and project management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with maintenance & construction skilled trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, roofing).
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Must be a self-performer with minimal guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage employees and delegate multiple tasks.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
