Job summary

Applied CAx in the United States is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer-facing PLM software implementations from kickoff through deployment and acceptance. You will manage scope, budget, and timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver value for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience in enterprise software implementation, with PLM exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience leading customer-facing software implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing software implementations from kickoff through deployment and acceptance.
• PLM implementation experience preferred; Siemens Teamcenter or another enterprise PLM platform is a strong plus.
• ERP and/or MES implementation experience strongly preferred if PLM is limited.
• Strong client management skills with senior stakeholders in a multi-client environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities.
• Experience defining and managing project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, deliverables and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer software implementation projects, primarily PLM.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Own project financial management, including budget tracking and forecasting.
• Serve as main client point of contact with delivery team, ensuring governance and reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Solution Architects, engineers, IT, business stakeholders).
• Understand client business processes, requirements, priorities, and success criteria.
• Coordinate integrations with CAD, ERP, MES and related systems.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Lead kickoff meetings, status updates, go-live readiness, acceptance, and closeout.
• Conduct post-project reviews and identify follow-on opportunities.
