Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in the United States seeks a Sr. IT Project Manager (Engineering Systems - PLM/CAD) to drive large software implementation and upgrade projects within Engineering Systems.

You will support PMO activities for secondary projects and own comprehensive project reporting. This role requires experience with PLM and CAD systems, strong cross-functional coordination, and leadership across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 4–8 years of information services/ technology experience.
• 4–8 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with PLM and CAD systems in engineering IT projects.
• Experience handling project finances and reporting.
• Knowledge of PLM and/ or ERP systems.
• Experience managing large-scale projects across multiple time zones.
• Experience leading diverse, multicultural teams.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create project purchase orders (POs).
• Participate in project budget processes.

• Responsible for the PO creations for projects
• Participating in the budget process for projects
• Participating in the staff meetings as needed.
• Craft presentations for leadership
• Serve as point of contact for vendor relationships.
• Own cross-functional coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or Information Technology or Engineering related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience within information services/ technology
• 4 to 8 years of experience with project management
• Managed engineering IT projects; familiarity with PLM and CAD systems
• Knowledge of handling project finances including reporting
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and/ or enterprise resource planning systems
• Experience of running large-scale projects in multiple time zones
• Experience in managing groups and working in geographically diverse and multicultural environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication and demonstration skills in English
• Passionate problem-solver and possesses a strong desire to learn/ grow and collaborate.
