Job summary

Follett Software, LLC is seeking a collaborative Project Manager to lead projects from initiation through completion. This role collaborates with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.

You will define business requirements, develop project plans, manage risks, and maintain documentation while driving cross-functional collaboration and leveraging tools like Jira, Asana, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of project management experience in software/IT/operations environments.
• PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) preferred; familiarity with Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through completion including design, development, and documentation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on milestones, strategies, and outcomes.
• Develop project plans and estimates with detailed work plans, timelines, and resource estimates.
• Estimate and allocate resources and develop schedules to ensure timely implementation.
• Gather and analyze data to assess objectives, costs, performance, and scope.
• Identify opportunities to improve or optimize business processes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with business units and technology teams.
• Draft business rule specifications for systems and software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
