Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is seeking a Project Manager for Critical Power Projects. This role can be based remote within specified states and requires up to 50% travel.

You will manage design-build and critical power infrastructure projects through full lifecycle, from assessment to commissioning. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience in electrical design-build, with a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and PMP certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of PM experience in design-build electrical projects for critical power infrastructure.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; security clearance eligibility preferred.
• No relocation offered; candidate must reside near a major airport in listed states.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration for electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines, including scope management, change control, SOVs, and budget oversight.
• Lead design-build and critical power projects through full lifecycle from site assessment to commissioning.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery: planning, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, changes, and resources.
• Direct modernization and installation of electrical power systems including utility and distribution infrastructure.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects with safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical and project leadership to internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Lead cross-functional teams coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and field activities.
• Develop/manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders while ensuring contract compliance.
• Support sales/service with technical expertise and execution strategies for critical power solutions.
