Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division is seeking a Project Manager for Critical Power Projects. This role can be remote within selected U.S. states with access to a major airport and up to 50% travel.

The role oversees design-build and critical power infrastructure from assessment to commissioning, managing scope, schedule, budget, and contracts. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (PMP preferred) and 3+ years of project management in

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP certification preferred.
• 3+ years in design-build electrical projects serving critical power infrastructure.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally is required.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration for electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines, including scope management, change control, SOVs, and budgets.
• Lead design-build and critical power infrastructure projects from site assessment through commissioning and closeout.
• Manage project delivery: planning, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, change management, and resources.
• Direct modernization, upgrades, installation, and commissioning of critical power systems and associated infrastructure.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects with focus on safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors; act as main point of contact.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and field activities.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders while maintaining contract compliance.
• Support sales and service with technical expertise and project execution strategies.
