Job summary

Westminster Pet Products is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end initiatives across product innovation, sourcing, operations, and sales. You will bridge cross-functional teams to move pet product concepts from concept to retail shelves and manage onboarding for new business wins and major accounts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in a CPG environment, strong project management skills with tools (Asana/Monday.com/Smartsheet/Jira), and a Bachelor’s in business or related field.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a CPG environment.
• Proven track record onboarding major retail accounts and working through vendor portals.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules, map critical paths, and track milestone dependencies using project management software.
• Drive the operational tactical execution for newly secured business and ensure supply chain, warehouse logistics, and fulfillment readiness.
• Coordinate with internal sales and external buyers to map out EDI setups, logistics guidelines, routing guides, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain the commercialization timeline for new product development across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate artwork and packaging specs to meet retailer guidelines and safety standards.
• Act as primary coordinator between product development, sourcing, legal/regulatory, design, and sales to ensure flawless launches.
• Identify delays, resource constraints, or bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies to keep launches on schedule.
• Provide routine status updates, risk assessments, and post-launch evaluation reports to leadership.
