Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking a project manager to oversee cross-functional initiatives spanning Digital Technology Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance. Hybrid role in St Charles, MO.

We require 5+ years of varied project experience, strong communication, and solid knowledge of Agile, SaaS platforms, and CI/CD. Responsible for leading teams, coordinating resources, and delivering quality, tested solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, technology, customer and 3rd party vendors to deliver quality results.
• Oversee build and delivery of the business application through the Development team and handover to Support.
• Maintain understanding of the business area to develop accurate functional requirements.
• Use technical/functional knowledge to guide design aligned with architecture and DB design.
• Analyze business/systems impact and plan tasks for delivery of tested solutions.
• Coordinate internal and 3rd party resources through development, implementation and nurturing phases.
• Lead team during build/implementation; configure software or manage technical resources.
• Ensure solutions are tested and documented to meet requirements.
• Manage 3rd parties to meet SLA; suggest improved workflows.
• Utilize PPM tool for planning resources, milestones, risks, and financials.
• Engage senior managers to ensure deployment and realized benefits.

Job Purpose

This role will manage projects and smaller bodies of work that are cross functional between the Digital Technology Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Working cross functionally with business, technology, customer, and 3rd party vendor teams while delivering quality results
• Oversees the build and delivery of the business application through the Development team and ensures successful handover to Support teams
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant business area to aid in the development of accurate and concise functional requirements
• Applies technical and functional knowledge to manage teams that design solutions which are in line with technical architecture, database design and performance requirements
• Analyses the business and systems impact of the solution and plans the detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of the fully tested solution.
• Coordinates internal and 3rd party resources during development, implementation, and nurturing phases.
• Manage team during the build and implementation phases, while carrying out activities to configure software packages and/or manage technical resources or vendors
• Ensure solutions are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project documentation which meet functional and technical requirements.
• Manages 3rd parties to ensure delivery per Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and recommends improved ways of working.
• Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, risks, and financials.
• Engages Business Partnership Senior Managers & Managers, and business unit Directors and Senior Managers to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.

Required

• 5+ year’s experience of varied project type, scope and duration
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Process oriented and results driven
• Understanding of highly integrated digital platforms
• Knowledge in Supply Chain and Logistics Integrations (EDI, API)
• Order Management System experience
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Clear understanding of Agile Methodology
• Experience SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of Change Management Practices
• High level of Stakeholder Management skills
• Experience creating and managing project plans, document repositories, risk register, and other PM artifacts

Highly Desirable

• Experience working CPG company
• Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain and Logistics standards and best practices
• Experience working in the pet food and/or health industry
• Product management and life cycle experience preferredExperience with projects including systems integration
• Service provider and/or solutions consulting experience desired
• Experience logging defects/tickets in a ticketing system such as JIRA
