Job summary

Westminster Pet Products is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end initiatives across product innovation, sourcing, procurement, operations, customer service, regulatory, marketing, and sales to move pet products from concept to shelves.

You will drive the operational onboarding for new business wins, major retail accounts, and international expansion channels while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a CPG environment.
• Proven track record onboarding major retail accounts (e.g., Target, Petco, Chewy, Walmart).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules and track milestone dependencies.
• Drive operational execution for new business to support volume and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal sales and external buyers on EDI setups, routing guides, and compliance for new accounts.
• Manage commercialization timelines for new product development across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate private label modifications, club store multi-packs, exclusive SKUs, and POS displays.
• Act as the liaison between product development, sourcing, regulatory, design, and sales for flawless launches.
• Identify delays or bottlenecks and implement mitigation to keep launches on schedule.
• Ensure artwork and packaging meet safety standards and retailer guidelines.
• Provide routine status updates and risk assessments to leadership.
