Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial door and hardware projects remotely. You will manage the full lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout, coordinating with owners, general contractors, vendors, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have extensive Division 8 experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Comsense and DOORS. You will drive schedules, budgets, and quality across multiple sites while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial doors, frames, and hardware (Division 8) or related scope.
• Familiarity with Comsense estimating/project management software and DFH processes; Avaware or similar doors-specific software.
• Strong reading of drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for commercial door and hardware work, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, installation oversight, commissioning, and closeout.
• Serve as primary client and general contractor contact; maintain timely communication and manage expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and coordinate sequencing with trades to minimize delays.
• Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders; ensure Division 8 conformance.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and the DFH team to secure timely deliveries and resolve issues.
• Use estimating/project software to generate estimates, track budgets, and update forecasts.
• Provide on-site technical support to ensure quality, code compliance, and correct installation practices.
• Manage subcontractors and installers, including scope, performance, and payments.
• Lead project closeout: inspections, punch lists, warranty docs, as-builts, turnover.
• Promote safety and quality standards and OSHA compliance on all projects.
