Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in the commercial door and hardware industry.
• Ability to read specifications and blueprints and interpret codes.
• Familiarity with submittal software Aveware or similar.
• Experience with Navision or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of hardware components and life-safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage job costs, schedules, and execution of multiple projects.
• Interpret specs/blueprints; prepare take-offs, bids, and proposals.
• Review proposals and participate in bid reviews/descope meetings.
• Convert quotes into orders and support profitability.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams through the project lifecycle.
• Develop/revise shop drawings and submittals with project changes.
• Manage order entry and coordinate with Operations for scheduling and delivery.
• Ensure accurate contract oversight and invoicing; resolve issues with accounting.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
