Job summary

WHIZZ is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Collections & Asset Recovery to reduce losses from delinquency, fraud and theft while boosting recovery rates. You will own the recovery lifecycle from risk scoring to repossession and escalate when needed.

You will work on strategies to curb delinquency, fraud, and asset loss, improving customer risk scoring and overseeing end-to-end recovery processes. This role reports directly to founders in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project or product management within operationally complex businesses, with responsibility for improving processes, systems and business performance.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code or similar is required.
• Fluent English (C1+) is required; Russian is a plus.
• Comfortable working with CRM/ERP systems, workflows and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at improving collections and equipment recovery performance.
• Develop, test and optimize strategies to reduce delinquency, fraud, theft and asset loss.
• Improve customer risk scoring using customers’ data, payment history, and operational data.
• Optimize the full recovery process: early-stage collections, payment plans, hard collections, repossession and external escalation.
• Analyze portfolio performance and identify patterns behind default, fraud and equipment loss.
• Design and test new workflows, policies, communication strategies and recovery approaches.
• Define and improve KPIs across collections, fraud and repossession.
• Track results and report directly to senior management and founders.
