Job summary

Whizz in Chicago, IL is seeking an Asset Recovery Specialist on a full-time, 1099 contract. You will conduct round trips to recover electric bicycles and mopeds from debtors, and use CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion to manage tasks while coordinating with law enforcement when needed.

Willingness to travel across Chicago and surrounding areas, plus car ownership, are required. Former or retired law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in security, police, army, or related field.
• Former or retired law enforcement experience strongly preferred.
• Car ownership and willingness to use it for the job.
• Willingness to travel within Chicago and other cities for day trips.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct round trips to collect and recover electric bicycles and mopeds from debtors.
• Communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances and collections.
• Manage tasks using CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by other departments.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
