Job summary

Bonaventure seeks a Project Manager, Capital Projects to lead owner-side renovations across occupied properties, from scope and budgeting to turnover and closeout.

You will partner with Asset Management and operations, manage multiple projects, and ensure budget, schedule, safety, and quality while traveling regionally as needed. Remote role with site visits to Richmond/Tidewater areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction project management, including multifamily renovations.
• Experience managing occupied apartment renovations and site safety.
• Proficient budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and change-order review.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to provide clear updates.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams; construction management systems.
• Applicable degree; or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee owner-side capital improvements from scope through closeout.
• Coordinate with Asset Management, operations, contractors, and inspectors.
• Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, procurement, and logistics plans.
• Manage unit renovation programs and cost-per-unit tracking.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits for progress, safety, and quality.
• Travel to properties regionally for due diligence and inspections.
