Job summary

The Project Manager at Ogletree Deakins is accountable for end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, including custom software development, AI adoption, and platform rollouts. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and vendor relationships while aligning practice groups, firm leadership, and vendors.

You will collaborate with the AI Architect and Business Analysts in OD Labs, leading MVP-focused delivery within the OD Labs model and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm delivery of legal work related projects.
• 2+ years of experience managing technical projects (custom software, system rollouts).
• Experience owning project budgets and reporting status to stakeholders.
• Able to identify, track, and elevate risks with solutions.
• Strong knowledge of project management practices (scope, schedule, budget, risk, change).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of OD Labs initiatives from initiation to active use.
• Oversee MVP-focused delivery and limit active projects to optimize throughput.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Plan and lead project team meetings and track action items.
• Maintain risk, issue, and dependency logs and escalate when needed.
• Manage relationships with outside technology vendors and ensure alignment with MVP objectives.
• Support process mapping and translate needs into actionable requirements.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates to firm leadership.
• Plan and support change management and adoption, including training materials.
