Job summary

LMI is seeking a proactive Project Management Specialist to support VA suicide prevention and mental health programs. You will provide day-to-day project management, administrative, and operational support across multiple workstreams, coordinating with program managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, public administration, information systems, technology, public health, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, consulting, program operations, business operations, or a related role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with ability to work with limited direction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Experience developing meeting agendas, capturing minutes, maintaining actions, and coordinating follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Managers and Project Managers across multiple projects, providing day-to-day coordination and execution follow-through.
• Maintain project schedules, trackers, risk and issue logs, and other artifacts.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Develop and maintain polished PowerPoint presentations, Excel dashboards, and client materials.
• Organize project documentation in SharePoint, including SOPs and templates.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities and VA access coordination.
• Support Agile delivery activities including sprint planning and ceremonies, and maintain Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Gather and document requirements, user needs, acceptance criteria, and project decisions.
• Coordinate across technical, analytical, and program teams to ensure alignment and progress.
• Gain familiarity with MS Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, analytics, data, and program evaluation.
