Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking a proactive Project Management Specialist to support a VA program focused on suicide prevention and mental health. This remote US role involves coordinating multiple projects, maintaining schedules, and delivering client-ready materials.

You will work with program managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure actions are completed, milestones are met, and artifacts are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, information systems, technology, public health, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, consulting, program operations, or related role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work in environments where requirements aren’t fully defined.
• Proactive self-starter who takes initiative with limited direction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Experience developing meeting agendas, capturing minutes, maintaining action items, and coordinating follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination and execution support across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Maintain project schedules, trackers, risk/issue logs, and decision records.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and minutes; track actions and follow-up.
• Maintain visibility into priorities, milestones, and deadlines across teams.
• Coordinate inputs for deliverables, status reports, program reviews, and client materials.
• Develop polished PowerPoint presentations, Excel trackers, dashboards, and project materials.
• Organize project docs in SharePoint (SOPs, templates, trackers, records).
• Assist onboarding/offboarding, including VA access and orientations.
• Support Agile delivery activities (sprint planning, backlog, Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, Jira/Azure DevOps).
• Gather and document requirements, user needs, acceptance criteria, and decisions.
• Coordinate across technical, analytical, and program teams to ensure alignment.
• Gain familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, and analytics.
