Job summary

BUILD Renewables is seeking a Project Labor Compliance Specialist to administer IRA prevailing-wage compliance for renewable-energy construction projects and serve as the field liaison between project teams, subcontractors, and the compliance group.

You will oversee certified payroll, wage classifications, and documentation readiness, driving timely corrections and audit readiness across multiple sites while working remotely with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Two+ years in labor compliance, certified payroll, or related field; construction/renewable energy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of prevailing-wage requirements and Davis-Bacon principles is a plus.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer IRA prevailing-wage compliance processes across projects.
• Coordinate weekly collection and review of certified payroll and compliance records.
• Act as field-facing compliance liaison among project teams, subcontractors, and internal compliance.
• Support audits, closeout activities, and reporting to owners or auditors.
• Ensure apprentices have proper registration/documentation when applicable.
