Job summary

CDH Consulting is seeking a Project Health and Safety Professional to lead the day-to-day implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety programs across all operations. The role collaborates with leadership, project managers, field personnel, and clients to drive a proactive safety culture and ensure safety excellence.

Responsibilities include implementing the Health and Safety Management System, conducting audits and investigations, delivering training, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of health and safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Leadership, supervisory, or program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture across all operations.
• Implement and continuously improve the Health and Safety Management System.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, state, local, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking.
• Develop and deliver safety training and maintain required records and certifications.
• Identify hazards and implement risk controls to support project teams.
