Job summary

LHH is partnering with a high-growth professional services organization to hire an experienced Financial Operations Manager. This highly visible role focuses on the financial side of a project-based business and partners with operational leaders to improve forecasting, profitability, and overall business performance.

Fully remote for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones within the United States. You will lead FP&A activities, develop KPIs, dashboards, and robust financial models, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across FP&A, project finance, or financial/business operations
• Current or recent leadership experience at the Manager or Director level
• Background in engineering, architecture, design, consulting, or similar professional services
• Strong knowledge of project financials: WIP, backlog, utilization, revenue forecasting, margins, fees
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting
• Ability to partner directly with operational and business leaders
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Partner with operational leaders to improve forecasting and profitability
• Analyze project financials: WIP, backlog, utilization, revenue forecasting, margins
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting
