Job summary

stow seeks a PROJECT ENGINEER to lead all engineering efforts from project kickoff to site handover for automated storage solutions in the US and Canada. You will work with pallet shuttles (atlas), tote shuttles (escala), automated mobile robots (ifollow), and conveyors/lifts to deliver turnkey projects.

Required is post-sale engineering experience in material handling, strong mechanical/robotic design skills, and collaboration with sales, suppliers, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering or related field.
• Multiple years of experience in post-sale engineering in the material handling/warehousing industry with automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).
• Skilled in mechanical and robotic system design.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical single point of contact for integrator and end user engineering teams for assigned projects.
• Lead internal and external project kick-off meetings and reviews.
• Create and analyze technical drawings and data for racking and robotics production.
• Coordinate assembly drawings and PE stamped drawings.
• Provide information to order processing and project management for quotes and installation planning.
• Support design and production to meet timelines and budget.
