Job summary

Realign Llc in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Warehouse Design and Automation Engineer-5 to lead the design and deployment of automated storage and material handling solutions within manufacturing facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with ASRS for VNA, AMRs/ Cobots, conveyors, and integration with WMS/WES.

You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and plant personnel to deliver safe, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse design and automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience in automation deployment and integration.
• Knowledge of robotics, AMRs/ Cobots, and vision systems.
• Lean manufacturing and value stream mapping knowledge.
• Ability to model scenarios and interpret results for design input.
• Understanding of controls engineering and plant IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign warehouses including capacity and tech selection.
• Develop automation solutions from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, and plant personnel.
• Ensure safety requirements and project scope, cost, and schedule alignment.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers in US, Europe, and India.
• Track project status and support installation/ commissioning.
