Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Project Director - Oncology to lead complex clinical development initiatives globally. You will partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive execution, align scope and budgets, and support high-quality trial outcomes in a highly regulated environment.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, inspection readiness, and portfolio oversight in a remote setting. Prior oncology program leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or health-related field required.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in clinical research with 5+ years in project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience overseeing global studies or portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client liaison and ensure excellent service.
• Oversee all aspects of clinical trials and maintain consistency across portfolios.
• Direct project managers in planning, execution, and closure.
• Manage study budgets and ensure adherence to scope.
• Develop project plans with proactive risk management strategies.
• Ensure quality management and inspection readiness for projects.
• Prepare status updates and lead internal and client meetings.
