Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field and 1–3 years of experience in project controls, FP&A, or data-driven roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project-level cost forecasts, partnering with project managers and field operations.
• Support SOX controls documentation and internal control maintenance.
• Develop analytics models to forecast future project costs using historical data and key parameters.
• Assist with budget mapping and ensure fiscal discipline across the department.
• Analyze project performance trends and drivers of variance in cost, schedule, and resources.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and propose mitigation actions to leadership.
• Create cost-tracking and reporting systems for accurate operational reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather cost data and provide insights on trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through analysis.
• Translate complex data into executive-ready storytelling and strategic recommendations.
• Travel to field sites as needed to understand challenges and solutions.
• Define and analyze key metrics to manage project health and continuous improvement.
• Lead data quality audits and resolve discrepancies with field teams.
• Contribute analytics to lessons-learned reviews and portfolio trend reports.
