Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II to support the Project Manager in a remote capacity across our environmental and infrastructure projects. You will monitor schedules, update reports, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely deliverables.

You will use tools like Microsoft Project, Vantagepoint, and Power BI to create schedules and KPI updates, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of data analysis experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Past experience as a project accountant, project controls, or project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Vantagepoint, Power BI, scheduling or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Request and process project status updates from Project Managers and leaders.
• Create project summaries and schedule variance reports.
• Generate project and portfolio level reports for stakeholders.
• Submit, download, and update forms on document control systems.
• Develop project schedules using scope and Work Breakdown Structure.
• Create custom project schedules with guidance from Project Managers.
• Update schedules using MS Project, Excel, Vantagepoint, or Teams.
