Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain complex project schedules, analyze costs, and perform variance and risk assessments to support accurate forecasts.

You will produce earned value reports, collaborate with project teams, and help implement financial controls and forecasting techniques while ensuring compliance with federal and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and EVM is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project finance and accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects or portfolios.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and discuss observations with project managers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and supervise junior engineers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer contract requirements.
