Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You’ll develop schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, and integrate risk reserves into forecasts while coordinating with management and project teams.

You will lead Earned Value Management, perform financial analyses, and ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards on a dynamic, global portfolio with 20%–40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with large construction projects and earned value management.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex project schedules and cost baselines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain time-phased project schedules and cost forecasts.
• Perform earned value analyses and variance reporting for portfolios of projects.
• Consolidate risk, cost and schedule data for client and internal reporting.
• Provide financial control guidance and support to project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multiple levels of management.
