Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking an EPC Environmental Compliance Project Manager to lead environmental compliance planning, oversight, and execution for solar PV and BESS construction projects in North America. Hybrid work arrangement in Houston, TX with travel up to 40%.

You will mentor site Environmental Managers, interpret and implement permits, develop plans (SWPPP, SPCC), and ensure regulatory alignment across federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental compliance and permitting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to interpret regulations across federal, state and local levels.
• Experience with environmental due diligence, auditing or risk assessment preferred.
• Experience in construction/renewable energy sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance planning, oversight, and execution for solar PV and BESS construction projects.
• Develop and implement environmental plans and permits (SWPPP, SPCC, etc.).
• Mentor site Environmental Managers and ensure consistent standards.
• Coordinate with Owners, subcontractors, regulators, and clients.
• Support audits, inspections, and corrective action programs.
