Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Project Analyst, Desktop Services to coordinate, support, and implement enterprise client technology solutions across HealthPartners by partnering with IT teams, facilities, vendors, and business stakeholders.

The role leads planning, deployment, and lifecycle management of desktop and endpoint technologies, including fleet management and technology refresh initiatives, with on-site deployment participation and strong project communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years of project coordination or project management experience supporting physical infrastructure or technology-related projects.
  • Nine (9) years of Information Technology experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management, implementation, and on-site execution support for facility projects, office moves, workstation deployments, technology implementations, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to assess and translate technology needs into technical requirements and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate enterprise deployment of desktop, endpoint, network connectivity, and office technology solutions across IT teams, application owners, vendors, and business partners.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, schedules, status reports, and other project documentation using established PMO methodologies and tools.
  • Plan, track, and communicate project milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and status updates to sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Lead coordination of large-scale desktop deployments, technology refreshes, fleet lifecycle management, and repeatable enterprise software implementations.
  • Ensure desktop, printer, and related technology requirements are planned, procured, and delivered in support of facility projects and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, PMO, and business teams to coordinate technology changes that impact desktop environments and end-user services.
  • Consult with business partners to ensure technology requests, moves, adds, and changes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively elevate issues and develop contingency plans when necessary.
  • Partner with vendors and contracted service providers to coordinate implementation activities, resource assignments, support services, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain workstation and client technology configuration items within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Create and coordinate change management activities and records for desktop technologies and enterprise deployments.
  • Establish and maintain hardware, software, procurement, and configuration standards in partnership with IT and Materials Management.
  • Support the design and delivery of technology solutions for testing labs, training environments, and specialized business needs.
  • Guide desktop infrastructure decisions by evaluating dependencies between endpoint technologies, enterprise applications, and care delivery peripherals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve desktop services, fleet management, lifecycle planning, virtualization, and service delivery processes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, deployment standards, and implementation documentation.
  • Participate in staff development activities, including interviewing, onboarding, training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, business owners, vendors, and technical resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
