Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project accounting; A&E industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Deltek Ajera or similar project accounting software is highly desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create financial models, perform variance analysis, and track project costs.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to project-based work.

Responsibilities

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and issue monthly client invoices in accordance with contractual terms and project milestones.
• Billing & Invoicing: Perform monthly revenue recognition, WIP reporting, and job cost analysis.
• Billing & Invoicing: Collaborate with project managers to resolve billing discrepancies, process change orders, and address client billing inquiries.
• Subconsultant & Project Cost Oversight: Review, process, and enter subconsultant invoices with proper coding.
• Subconsultant & Project Cost Oversight: Monitor subconsultant payment status and coordinate with AP for timely payments.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements; maintain project documentation.
• Reporting & Financial Controls: Support audits, implement best practices, and generate ad hoc reports.
