Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Program Manager to lead regional capital project delivery across Chicago and the Midwest. You will ensure adherence to RPM playbooks, manage budgets, and coordinate with project executives to keep programs on track.

The role requires 7–10+ years in CRE/construction PM, strong cost modeling skills, and experience overseeing multiple contractors and design teams. Remote-friendly with US-wide scope and compensation aligned to market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
• 7 to 10+ years of progressive commercial real estate, corporate interiors, and construction project management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project or Primavera P6) and financial cost modeling.
• Proven track record managing sub-consultants, general contractors, A&E design teams, and trade partners.
• Demonstrated experience governing multi-project capital portfolios with individual project spend ranging from $1M to $20M

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day capital project delivery across Chicago and Midwest locations, ensuring adherence to RPM playbooks, safety protocols, permitting, and design standards.
• Maintain financial oversight through Monthly Cost Reports, Value of Work Done tracking, depreciation bucket management, and baseline budget variance analysis.
• Conduct rigorous commercial evaluation of Potential Change Orders and contingency drawdowns, validating scope before escalation to Project Executives.
• Safeguard the schedule window between Contractor Handover and First Day of Business, coordinating AV/IT installation and readiness.
• Maintain live Universal Risk Registers and CRAID logs to flag long-lead procurement bottlenecks and critical path threats.
• Collaborate with Transaction and Brokerage leads to align milestones with lease obligations and Tenant Improvement Allowance drawdowns.
• Enforce vendor closeout, financial reconciliation, and O&M manual uploads within 90 days of completion
