Job summary

Children's Health is seeking a Program Manager for Point of Care to lead lab QA and coordinate testing across inpatient and ambulatory sites. This remote role reports to Lab Point of Care Testing and requires ensuring standard work, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Lab Scientist/Technologist.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification eligible; must acquire within 12 months.
• Experience with quality control, regulatory inspections, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day QA and QA in the laboratory quality control and assurance department.
• Coordinate Point of Care testing across inpatient units and ambulatory practices for standardization.
• Promote Lean principles and conduct standard work, audits and trainings.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to improve processes and testing outcomes.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and development of lab personnel.
