Job summary

Eat Real is seeking a Program Manager to guide school districts through our K-12 certification program with a high-touch, concierge-level experience from onboarding through certification. You’ll manage district relationships, oversee assessments, and pilot new tech-enabled support offerings.

This remote role within the U.S. requires strong project management, client service mindset, and the ability to work across states.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of foodservice experience at scale, including operations, nutrition, menu planning, and procurement
• Experience in customer success or program management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Deliver best‑in‑class customer service: Act as the primary liaison leading districts through our certification process with clarity and efficiency
• Charter new landscapes: Learn the challenges & opportunities unique to school food in different states and regions
• Advance the certification experience: Refine Eat Real’s tools and processes to help districts implement real food changes more effectively
• Facilitate engagement opportunities: Organize and lead meetings and events, fostering a network of school food leaders
• Drive impact: Ensure projects move forward smoothly, prioritize tasks effectively, and support district success from start to finish
• Adapt and respond: Flexibly address shifting priorities, new opportunities, and unique district challenges
• Shape Eat Real’s strategy: Contribute to evolution, growth, and strategic planning as the organization grows
• Plan events & partnerships: Contribute to events and initiatives that foster Eat Real’s work
• Evaluate & enhance content: Support the marketing team to craft content for the website, blog, and social channels
