ACT, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Program Director of Major Accounts and District Partnerships to manage a portfolio of the nation’s largest districts. Lead new business capture, grow existing relationships, and drive measurable outcomes at scale.

The role requires 7+ years selling to large K-12 districts, an established senior leadership network, and deep knowledge of procurement and budgets. Remote work with 25% travel and a salary ranging from $115,000 to $125,000.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience selling to or working within large K-12 school districts.
• Established network of senior district leaders and credibility at leadership level.
• Deep knowledge of district priorities, budget cycles, funding mechanisms, and procurement processes.
• Proven track record closing complex, multi-year deals in competitive environments.
• Knowledge of the K-12 assessment landscape and how districts evaluate solutions.
• Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to use competitive intelligence to shape district strategies.
• Ability to work across the organization and manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to set goals, prioritize, and drive to completion.
• Willingness to travel about 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or related area or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of the nation’s largest school districts with responsibility for new business capture and growth.
• Develop and execute multi-year account plans for each district.
• Lead responses to large district RFPs with solutioning and costings.
• Engage district senior leaders to align ACT solutions with priorities.
• Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, delivery, and product decisions.
• Represent ACT at national and regional events and with district leadership networks.
• Travel up to 25% and manage complex procurement processes.
