Job summary

ClimateWorks Foundation is hiring a Full-time Remote Program Manager for the Global Energy Transition Initiative (GETI). The role supports rapid transformation of the global power sector, starting with 15 emerging economies across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, by guiding solar industry associations and policy inputs.

You will work with regional leads, funders, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure plan delivery, reporting, and knowledge sharing across continents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of work experience in project management and the solar sector.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
• Experience in complex project management and maintaining a precise work plan.
• Experience in grant management and grant processing.
• Experience in event organizing (1–3 hour events).
• Experience communicating directly with funders and developing concise reporting.
• Experience working with consultants for capacity building and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management of the Solar Industry Association Initiative workplan across regions.
• Support grant processing, compliance, and grantee engagement.
• Oversee timely delivery of outputs and manage risks.
• Maintain/update project timelines and global event calendars; advise leadership on priorities.
• Organize briefings and events in coordination with GETI leadership.
• Coordinate with grantees via regional leads for portfolio updates.
• Provide weekly portfolio updates and structured reporting to funders.
