Job summary

Junior Achievement of Chicago seeks a Program Manager, K-12, Northwest Indiana, to coordinate outreach across Lake and Porter Counties in Northwest Indiana.

Based at our Chicago headquarters with remote and flexible scheduling, this full-time exempt role includes a 37.5-hour work week and a mid-October start date, reporting to the Program Director. A 5% incentive is available contingent on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; at least 1 year of business experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Willingness to travel within Northwest Indiana and Chicago area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Team to expand programs to include in-person and virtual delivery options.
• Assist schools to implement virtual JA programs, or teacher-led, in-person programs, whichever applicable to schools.
• Train and support program volunteers to deliver JA programs and learning experiences using a variety of delivery models and tools – in-person or virtual. Moderate program classes to ensure programs are delivered by volunteers / teachers with the utmost quality.
• Prepare accurate and current program reports.
• Update and maintain accurate information on program CRM system.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ad-hoc: Assist Program Directors with school recruitment, volunteer recruitment, and networking/brand-awareness for JA programs.
• Assist Program Directors with all program-related Board Committees in carrying out their specific functions. Prepare material for Board and Committee meetings as needed.
