Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to address coding quality, compliance assessments, external payer reviews, and coding education. The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, offering opportunities to influence healthcare data accuracy from your workspace.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional fee coding or auditing, CPC certification, and experience with EMRs like Epic or Cerner.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification required.
• CPMA preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provide concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple cases to ensure workflow.
• Educate coders through the auditing process.
• Maintain professional, efficient, positive conduct.
• Adhere to AHIMA's code of ethics.
• Be customer-service focused and dependable, eager to learn.
• Handle high-complexity decisions.
• Demonstrate strong organization, teamwork, and leadership.
